Hi Everyone!
I am posting this for The Ordinary Princess (a.k.a. Joy) because she would really like you prayers on the subject. She is considering joining The Continentals for one of their tours next spring. They are a singing group that travels all over the world and performs as a ministry. She is looking at going on a five week tour that goes to Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. Even though it seems early, she really needs to make a decision now, since this is viewed as a ministry and she would need to start raising money soon. So if all of you would please pray that the Lord would make His will perfectly clear to her, and that she would know what it is she should do beyond a shadow of a doubt, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, she said to feel free to leave comments on this post and let here know what you are thinking.

This blog is very cool and is a nice and clean way of getting all the facts about all the fun ya'll are having without me. Other than a few typo's ;) it looks professional. Keep up the good work and God bless. See you all in 2 and a half weeks (Lord willing).

Niyad,
Thanks for posting this for me I really appreciate it. I look forward to hearing what everyone has to say. I'm really hoping God gives me the go ahead with this, but it'll be ok if in the end he tells me no.
Keep praying for me everyone.

Ordinary Princess,
Here is a verse for u. I hope it will be some encouragement. Proverbs 3:5-6 :Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Hey
It's a much better look with the new format, but it's still not wild enough. Everyone that posts a comment or anything, if you would, please give your first name, so I know who everybody is. Thnx. That was kind of a drabg little comment, but I'm tired and sore, so it reflects my current state...
Laters,

This is in reply to thescreamingpenguin's request for names to be on the comments. I think that it is kind of fun to try and figure out who everyone is, so my inclination is to let everyone do what they want to in this area. However, I also want everyone to enjoy the blog, and if you can't do that without knowing who people are then I understand why you want to know who is who. So....what do the rest of you think?

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to give a quick up date on the whole Continentals thing. I'm going to be sending out my application for it probably within the next week or so. And from there it will be just whether I get accepted or not. I have my fingers crossed, but PLEASE keep praying.
To everyone who's prayed for me thus far, thanks. And to the anonymous person who left the verse from Prov. for me thank you. It was a good reminder.

We'll be praying for this decision. I really sympathize. My girls are coming to the same point in life where decisions on which direction to go are prevelant. I pray for God to give you His peace, and I love this verse about how to get it:
Phillipians 4:6-7
The Ordinary Princess,
Will be praying for you. I know you like that kind of stuff (and furthermore, you're talented at it) so it'll be awesome if you go (even though I'll miss you like crazy). ;)

Hey Screamin' Penguin,
I'm glad you like the new look, but in order to make things a bit more "wild" (I read that "customized") I'm gonna need some help. Do you have any idea how to write HTML script? I don't really know how, but if I did then I could do almost anything with the look of the page. Any suggestions?
Not exactly. That is, I have no idea how to do html and stuff. I just meant a different template everyday or something.

I was just wondering what the point of having a different template every day would be?
to be crazy, wild, and unpredictable!
UPDATE ON THE CONTINENTAL SINGERS,
I am going. I finally heard back from the Continentals today, Tuesday, and I was officially accepted by them. The one posision left open the last time they called me, just before Christmas, had been taken, but they had someone else decide not to go and the spot was open for me if I wanted it. The decision was then left up to me on if I really wanted to go.
I have done allot of praying on this, and I would like to thank again everyone else who has also been praying for me. I don't know if the enormity of it all has really hit me yet, but I find that God has really given me peace with this decision. The next question, and as Strider said,"The next prayer request," will be if I can raise the money. I still have to send in a deposit to secure my position on the tour. But I'm hoping that with a little elbow grease, ok, maybe allot, and a miracle or two I will be on my way to to singing God's praises and sharing with others the joy I have found in the Lord.
Please, keep the prayers coming, I'm going to need every one of them. God's blessings to all.
The Ordinary Princess
