Prayer for the Whitakers

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to give everyone an update on Mrs. Whitaker. For those of you who don’t know, she went to the emergency room on Sunday night where she was diagnosed with pneumonia. She also had a stuff built up between her heart and lungs that they had to do surgery to remove. She went into surgery Monday afternoon and seems to be doing a little better now. We don’t really know how long she will be in the hospital, and I know that she is not getting much rest there. Please continue to pray for her recovery and for wisdom for the doctors. Please keep the family in you prayers as well, as they go though these days without “mom” at home. We all know that this is hard enough anytime, and espically so durring the holidays.Thank-you all for your prayers.
God Bless,
Niyad

Will be praying for a quick recovery and for God's grace to rest on Mrs. Whitaker so that she will be able to sleep well and be able to go home soon.
Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. (James 5:13a)
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up (James 5:15a)
These are a couple of verses that I thought of. Applicable or not, I like to give scripture to people requesting prayer or not feeling well. Hope this is an encouragement to you... Hope you get feeling better soon, Mrs. Whitaker!

Whitakers,
Wow, this has got to be really hard on you guys. Seeing your mom at the Stoyeffs a week ago she looked like she was doing so good. It's hard to believe that she relapsed that quickly. I will be praying for strength for you all to get through this, and I hope she is able to come home soon. Very soon. Merry Christmas to you all and get well Mrs. Witaker!

Natalie,
Can we have an update on your mom? Is she doing totally better, and back to functioning "normally"? Has she gone back for any checkups to make sure that everything is gone? I was just wondering...
Thanks!
